Reflection

Looking back on the project, I believe we have successfully achieved the initial set goals.

The most challenging aspect was using Unity, as opposed to directly using templates in Lens Studio. This decision provided the project with greater customization and bespoke functionalities. Choosing Unity meant that we needed to independently handle more tasks, such as creating our own UI interface and incorporating diverse custom features. In the project, my responsibilities involved managing monster effects in the game, including handling particle effects and visually impactful glitch animations.

Overall, the project has broadly met the expected outcomes. However, there are still areas for improvement. For instance, due to the Unity AR templates using a different rendering pipeline than URP, we couldn't achieve certain shader effects. This necessitated exploring alternate approaches, such as creating special effects animations in AE PR and then importing them. While we encountered some limitations, these challenges drove us to seek innovative solutions.

Regarding task allocation, I'm relatively satisfied, although I believe I should have been more involved in the game coding aspect.
